Stealey Memorial Launch Site at Hudson Ranch
The SCORE launch field offers a well maintained gravel road leading out to a very large gravel covered area, which allows for safe launches of the largest rockets even during the dry season. After launch you have a vast open area for recovery so whether your rocket is big or small you shouldn’t have a problem recovering it.
Our launch site has the capabilities to launch low, mid and high power rockets. Our F.A.A. waiver allows us to fly rockets on the first and third Saturday of each month to 12,000 feet AGL, weather permitted.
How to find us:
It is located about 9.5 miles southwest from the Walmart (at Pueblo Blvd.& Hwy.78) on Beulah Hwy. On the North side of the highway, turn off at the scale model of the Nike Asp Rocket. Follow the gravel road through the cattle gate (please close it behind you).
