So many people had such a great time! Long time members, new members, and visiting flyers alike came out to support and raise money for the club. Registering for club events is the best way to support all of the rocketry community. As the cost to host events rises, SCORE appreciates everyone chipping in for the dumpster, port-a-potties and let’s not forget the motors for the Take-it Fly-it kids! Those add up quickly.

28 kids visited the Take-it Fly-it booth! The youngest ‘flyers’ were 5 months old and 1 1/2 years old! Kids from 3-14 learned how to prep a rocket and fly a rocket! Way to go Take-it Fly-it team! You guys rock!!!

One child in attendance found out the Chili Blaster shirts were designed by a club member and she spent the rest of her day working on a design to submit for next year’s Chili Blaster t-shirt!! I have tucked the picture away safely for next year!

The Beulah Fire Department volunteered for SCORE. We appreciate them using their free weekend to help keep us safe!

The vendors were amazing! Model Rocket Guy, Photos by Nadine, Moto Joe, Front Range Rocket Recovery, and Jeanette’s Crafts were all present and had awesome items for sale!

Food trucks! Yep, they were fantastic as well! Sno Biz Shaved Ice, Cafe Murillo, The Lunch Box and K.Veeze Food Truck all kept us all fed and Ground Pounder Coffee had delicious hot coffee and cool drinks throughout the day! Sweetheart Kettle Corn was a welcome snack on the flightline.

The Colorado community of rocketeers is an absolutely amazing group of people. Thank you for joining Southern Colorado Rocketeers for a great weekend!
