DESCRIPTION:Howdy Fellow Rocketeers!\n\nWeather permitting: Southern Colorado Rocketeers are go-for launch Saturday March 2nd\, 2024 at Stealey Memorial Launch Site at Hudson Ranch. For specific directions please see https://scronline.net/flying-site/  Close the gate behind you as you come onto the Range! There are livestock that we cannot let out! Tell your friends\, family members\, students etc!\n\n\nSet up will start at 8 am. Once we are set up\, we will have a safety brief. All flyers must sign in at the rocket check-in (RSO) table. A parent or guardian must sign for minors. This is a change to previous launches where only high-power flyers had to sign. This is for the landowner.\n\nIn an attempt to get us flying\, the monthly meeting will be post launch. The winds are predicted to pick up by noon\, we will fly as long as safely possible.\n\n \nWaiver is 12\,000 ft AGL with a 2 nm radius of recovery area. All high power flyers must sign the waiver at the rocket check-in (RSO) table.\n\n\nBecome a member of score at SCRonline.net! $20 for an individual membership or $25 for a family membership. Visiting high power flyers\, that are not members\, are asked for a $5 donation\, this helps maintain our launch system\, rails\, and the land we fly on. If you are unsure of your membership status\, we can check for you!\n\nClub t-shirts (short sleeve and long sleeve) and 2023’s chili Blaster t-shirt (short sleeve) will be available at the launch.
