Southern Colorado Rocketeers (S.C.O.R.E.) National Association of Rocketry (N.A.R.) Sanction 632 Minutes for November 5th, 2022 OPENED: 1:12 p.m. Minutes for October 1st, 2022 motioned, approved and seconded. NAR was represented by Jenn Chamberlin, president and Doug Curran, secretary. Tripoli was represented by Will Bussell, secretary. Treasurer’s Report : was reported by Ben Whitfield, treasurer, to Jenn. It was stated that the current balance was $5,361.55. Jenn stated that we made $308.00 from the rummage sale and that another $100.00 had already came in that morning. The free junior NAR membership was given to Cub Scout member Jackson Swiddersk-Hazleft. There was more discussion as far as the club getting its own silk screen press to make our own shirts instead of buying them. Estimated cost for the press, ink, shirts, etc. would be $923.00. A motion was made, seconded, and approved for the purchase. The Christmas party was discussed and it was decided not to have one due to the busy holiday schedules. It was decided to be held on March 18th, 2023 on St. Patrick’s Day. A motion was made, seconded and approved. It has been confirmed that NARAM 65 is returning to SCORE in 2004. No set date has been announced. It was announced that Regis High School would be attending on November 19th and December 3rd with approximately 27 students on both days for both level I and level II certifications. They were supposed to have paid $119.00. A new web design is in the works. It’s being set up by Kurt. We had been sharing John Boren’s R/C airplane club and had been paying $83.85 per year. With our own the cost will be paying $108.00 per year. A motion was made, seconded and approved. Jenn also mentioned the possibility in the future for a new club t-shirt design.
