Flying Site Location

Come out and fly at one of the best model rocket launch sites in the USA. The S.C.O.R.E launch field offers a paved road leading out to a very large gravel covered area, which allows for safe launches of the largest rockets even during the dry season.  After launch you have a vast open area for recovery so whether your rocket is big or small you shouldn’t have a problem recovering it.

Our new primary launch site has the ability to Launch HIGH POWER Rockets. We have the F.A.A. waiver to fly HIGH POWER Rockets and Model Rockets on the 3rd Saturday of each month to 8000 Feet, weather permitted. It is fair to say that watching these rockets is not the same as watching cheap flights take off from airports. This is a mind blowing experience and one that you will really enjoy.

No charge for flying Model Rockets. There will be $5.00 charge for use of the high power launch site. Free to club members.

The new site is at the Hudson Ranch. It is located about 9.5 miles west from the Walmart (at Pueblo Blvd.& Hwy.78) on Beulah Hwy. It is located on the right side coming from Pueblo.
