Come join us for our first annual BIG TWO DAY event! Are wide open flying site is located at the Hudson Ranch LLC 4H Activity Center located 9.5 miles South West of Pueblo Colorado on Colorado 78. There is a requested launch window from 8 AM to 5 PM both days for a max altitude of 8,000 feet AGL. Night launch is scheduled from 8 PM to 12 AM on 22 August to a max altitude of 8,000 feet (FAA approval pending). Registration fee is $35 for the weekend for non SCORE members, $25 for SCORE members. Memberships in SCORE are available on the flying field. There is no charge for onsite camping. Please be advised that open fires may not be allowed due to weather conditions at the time of the event. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The launch site is located near the city of Pueblo Colorado. Hotels, motels, and camp sites such as KOA and Lake Pueblo State Park are conveniently located near the launch site. Museums such as the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum, Sangre De Cristo Arts Center, Buell Children's Museum are attractions in the area. The Colorado State Fair is also going on that weekend. All in all there are many activities to enjoy in the area for you the rocket flyer and your family. |
